Re: On the drawing board

Hi Colin , I'm not sure about a release date as yet, but Yesterday I finished the "Auto Update" of the Radio Display (attributes & Text) out to the Client Application(s). // Text Line Data { EGetMaxTextLines, _T("GetMaxTextLines"), false, 1 }, { EGetMaxTextColumns, _T("G...

Re: On the drawing board

Friday 12 December update. The distributed "Server" is progressing well. A number of new " primitive " commands have been added (see below). I have run this with multiple clients (i.e. on what will eventually be Dispatch Consoles or Remote Radio Heads ) plus connected to 2 x Cont...

Re: On the drawing board

Hi guys, FWIW this is now being integrated into a LAN version of TransTRBO - as that should fall within our approved Applications of Dispatcher Consoles. To date: I have a Windows service running that can connect to and control up to 8 x radios concurrently. The (rudimentary GUI) text based TCP/IP C...

Re: On the drawing board

This project is moving along and I have now got a "Windows Service" application framework running (thanks to PJ Naughter's source).

I am now adding the TCP/IP server and hopefully soon I'll have the ability to run distributed "Dispatch Consoles".

Re: Login and Password

Hi Ivan,

Thanks for the suggestion - I'll mull it over a bit.

I think just the base user is allowed to have an empty password and the last user name is remembered - except for the "Manager".

Getting started - the Setup Wizard

Download the script file for an upcoming video tutorial
Set up Wizard tutorial script (.doc)

This document will give you a step by step description for each page in the set up wizard.
This information is also applicable for changing TransTRBO's configuration at some later date.

Re: P1-P4 Radio Buttons

Hi Ivan,

In the interim I may add a Toolbar button that will launch a generic "Radio Head" simulator.
It's been in the works for a while (sans audio) but the P1-P4 with short and long Press will work.

Suggestions ?

cheers
