LRRP "Stop Trigger"

Post by ByteFax »

Hello,

I am currently developing a program for GPS device management.

I have successfully implemented the device registration process via the Automatic Registration Service (ARS). Furthermore, I can successfully send LRRP commands to request devices to report their location at a set interval.

However, I am encountering an issue with the stop command. I am using the LRRP stop trigger command with the operation code 0x0F00, but it does not seem to work. The devices simply do not stop sending position data.

Could you please confirm if 0x0F00 is indeed the correct operation code for the immediate stop command? Alternatively, could there be another reason why the devices are not responding to this stop trigger?

Any insight or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Good evening,

That's exactly the command I also found online, and it's not working at home either.

Did you try 0x11 ?

I've found those packet type :
ImmediateLocationRequest = 0x05,
ImmediateLocationResponse = 0x07,
TriggeredLocationStartRequest = 0x09,
TriggeredLocationStartResponse = 0x0B,
TriggeredLocationData = 0x0D,
TriggeredLocationStopRequest = 0x0F,
TriggeredLocationStopResponse = 0x11,

ProtocolVersionRequest = 0x14,
ProtocolVersionResponse = 0x15
