Hi Gary,
#1. Do you have any old 2 x line display radios you could try as a Base Station Radio - I haven't done much testing on the 4 x line radios (as I interrogate the Radio and then read the display to get the info I need - Motorola(TM) doesn't give an API for reading Zone or Contact information - I just kludge it).
You'll need to get a key for it.
#2. But you given me an idea - that will be determine how many zones and channels and fill them with place holder data if I can't read the info from the radio ... hassle me when I finish the GPS Poll List functions.
If #1 above isn't feasible I'll try and look at #2 sooner.
But, you'll have to be the one to test it please.
Also, TTServer has the same sort of functionality with more current coding - you may be interested in trying that - it's more complex and clunky as its a Beta - please let me know).
