Change user click destination

Will -

Currently, it seems the default for double clicking on a subscriber in the contact list is to open the Private Call Keypad. That's fine in many applications, but in some, the preference would be the send text window (Text Message Keypad). I did not see a way to change the default window launch (if I missed it let me know). It would be a nice to have in the future.

Thanks, and have a great Holiday my friend!

Hi Will,

Love the idea!

Please remember I'm not a very good GUI oriented coder - so a step x step would be appreciated along with a how/where to put the Setup etc.
These details would cut down the number of bad decisions I would make - seriously, I can probably give you the functionality you require but I'd rather give it to you in a way that is usable to you - and not based on how I think you should use it - make sense? :D

My thoughts are yep
1. Double click on Contact (oops 4 x types on contact) :(
  1. Favourites
  2. Groups
  3. Subscribers (Radios)
  4. Unknown
Just looking at mouse Right-Click atm:
Favourites really has only 1 x option i.e Call or Swap Zone/Channel
Groups has only 2 x options i.e. Call or Send Text
Subscribers has more being:
  1. (Private) Call
  2. Private Alert
  3. SendText
plus
  1. Radio Check
  2. Radio Enable
  3. Radio Disable
  4. Radio Monitor
  5. Radio Radio Dekey
Q1. Should each type of "contact" be able to assign one of the above defined actions to Left-Click?
Q2. Setup assignments via Configuration -> Company Page [ -> Contact List Box -> A drop-down selection list for each Contact type] ?

Please feel free to share alternate solutions.

cheers
Will B

Hi Will et al,

Here is the first cut and when you are ready I'd appreciate it if you would test it (more thoroughly than I have ;) ).

Next - I'll look at the "foot pedal" for PTT.

cheers
Will
  1. Group double click action (default is Call")
  2. Subscriber double click action (default is Call")
