Hi I've been testing out transtrbo and wanted to make sure i have my radios setup correctly.

intranstrbo ars server is on, text server is on, gps is on

There are two types of radios setup, the control station connected to the computer running trantrbo, and the rest of the radios in the field.

lets start with the control station radio xpr7550

it has a radio id of 10000006
forward to pc is on
what do i set ars id to on this radio ?
what do i set tms id to on this radio ?
in the network control station section of cps what do i set ars monitoring id to ?
in the network control station section of cps what do i set data modem type to ?

now the general radios in the field xpr7550

they each have there own radio id
forward to pc is off
what do i set the ars id to on this radio (is it the radio id of the control station above 10000006 ?
what do i set the tms id to on this radio (is it the radio id of the control station above 10000006 ?
in the network control station section of cps what do i set ars monitoring id to ?
in the network control station section of cps what do i set data modem type to ?

thanks
sittsh

Your Question:
in the network control station section of cps what do i set data modem type to ?
I can't find this setting "modem type" - will you please post a screenshot?

cheers
Will

Hi sittsh,

I am using an older version of CPS so I'm not sure what this means - try CPS help (and post a screen shot) - and we may be able to "nut" it out.

Hi sittsh,

I'm glad you worked out the problem.
Are you running DDMS for some other application? If not, you should be able to easily uninstall it.

If you wish to install TT on another PC you'll need a key for that installation.

FWIW: DDMS is Device Discover & Mobility Service - which is basically Motorola's ARS Server.

Hi,
Yes, I'm retired but I may look into some PHP errors.

I'm running my home PC on Win 7 - so you'll have to be concise when indicating the errors you're receiving!
What Web Client you're using etc.
A screen shot of the error message etc.

My current retirement projects are getting CNC onto my 28+ year old mill - SUCCESS.
Learning how use my 30 year old metal lathe.
Those years are based on when I bought and last used them!

The Web server gets PHP updated automatically and I'm not sure what version is currently installed.

IIRC You can email the administrator aka me.
Please try that and I'll give you a direct email address!

cheers

Well even with all the errors it seems to work? I'm hoping someone can help me with the trans turbo stuff? I have several Motorola XPR radios including a 7550e? and I was told Motorola radios don't just spirt out GPS like others by time or distance or channel change? My goal would be to see the GPS on LRRP? or a small trans turbo system? If someone can share what all I have to do to see the radios I was told Motorola radios have to have a request sent
to them before they will send out the GPS?

Thanks.
